ICONIC PARIS HOTEL REOPENS WITH A NEW LOOK AND NEW SUITES
The iconic Le Bristol Paris hotel of Paris will reopen its doors to a new post-COVID chapter in its history. This major renovation is giving the hotel a new spirit and introducing a contemporary feel to its rooms and suites. Moreover, the refurbishments have resulted in a discretely elegant and sophisticated vibe.
THE NEW DESIGN OF LE BRISTOL PARIS
For the new room and suite designs, Le Bristol Paris consulted Countess Bergit Douglas and the creative team at her architectural firm MM Design. Colefax & Fowler, Briatte, Farrow & Ball, Maison Taillardat and Loro Piana have also been involved in the refurbishments.

Meanwhile, the gardens were created by landscape designer Arabella Lennox-Boyd. She selected many plants native to the Paris region and suited to local conditions. Then she used composted organic soil to ensure healthy growth and abundant flowering. She picked each tree, shrub and flower to support the biodiversity of this oasis in Paris.
THE LUMIERE SUITE
The Lumière Suite is the hotel’s new suite. Located on the hotel’s 5th floor with a view over Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, it’s designed like an elegant Parisian apartment. It has a library corridor between the drawing room and bedroom, and large bow windows to invite an abundance of light.

Soft tonalities of aqua, jade and coral bring a warm and contemporary feel. The designers envisioned this new pied-à-terre as a tranquil harbour for travellers to Paris.
THE PARIS SUITE
The beloved Paris Suite has embroidered draperies at the French doors, creating a sumptuous and regal atmosphere. Its elegant interiors are most appropriate for its stylish neighbourhood, Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. The richness of the wood parquet is the same as the one used in the Palais de Versailles. Meanwhile, the ornate luxury of the suite’s silk rug reminds guests that they are in Paris, but they are also home.
THE ELYSEE SUITE OF LE BRISTOL PARIS
In the majestic Elysée Suite, a walk-in closet illuminated by natural light offers a veritable stage for showcasing the day’s shopping. The famous boutiques of Paris are in the same neighbourhood, after all, in the most exclusive shopping district.

In the expansive drawing room, walls painted in soft hues are outlined by limed oak moulding. This makes for a light contemporary finish and a gentle atmosphere in which to relax after an afternoon’s treatment at Spa Le Bristol by La Prairie. A private bar enhances the living space for in-suite entertaining. Its the perfect prelude to an evening out in the City of Lights — or to dinner at Epicure, for that matter.
THE PANORAMIC SUITE OF LE BRISTOL PARIS
The Panoramic Suite, famously captured in the Academy Award winning film, Midnight in Paris, is preserved in the same design as seen on the silver screen. Now boasting a plush new sofa, it beckons the jet-lagged to curl up with a great book and a glass of rosé Champagne.

Suite 1925 is a tribute to perennial diva Josephine Baker. It’s enlivened by original portraits of the beloved entertainer, taken right here at Le Bristol Paris. One imagines dancing the Charleston through this charming, mansard-roofed suite.
WHERE TO HONEYMOON IN PARIS
Meanwhile, the Honeymoon Suite of Le Bristol Paris, with its cinematic view over Paris, offers pure romance. The Terrace Suite is another good option too. It has its own private outdoor spa so guests can enjoy a personalised wellness retreat in Paris. It’s literally heaven on a rooftop, with the warm sun shining down on it and a soft perfume of roses in the air.

Of course, for lovers who wish only the best, there’s always the majestic Penthouse Suite. This is literally a piece of paradise in Paris. Think 350 square meters of lavish living space in one of the most desired addresses in the world.
